The year is certainly slipping away, with the hot summer days morphing into the cool mornings of autumn. It won’t be long until we see the beautiful vibrant oranges and browns reflecting the colours of the new season.

Adventure seemed to be interwoven throughout the month of March with the amazing 4-wheel drive trip that saw residents treated to beautiful scenery, stunning  lake views, thrilling driving through the rugged land and vibrant native bush in the Ngaroma/Wharepuhunga area. Everyone was raving about the amazing experience with the Rotorua Land Rover Enthusiasts Club – Thank you to the club for hosting such an incredible day out for our residents.

St Patrick's Day was celebrated in fine style. The Highfield Lodge was painted green (metaphorically speaking). The decorations were outstanding, with touches of “Irish” on full display. The social committee put on a fabulous evening of entertainment, dinner and fun. A big thank you to the hardworking social committee for their time, huge efforts and organisational skills.
