Spring is in the air! The first golden daffodils are starting to show and the spring lambs won’t be far away.

The gardens are looking especially beautiful at the moment, thanks to the ongoing care and dedication of our garden team. Their hard work is evident everywhere — it’s a joy to stroll through the village and take in the stunning surroundings.

September is always a full and exciting month here at Highfield. Alongside our Annual General Meeting and much-loved social events — Quiz Night, Bingo, and Saturday movies at the Lodge — we’ll also take time to celebrate Father’s Day. It’s a special opportunity to honor our Dads, Grandads, and the significant men in our lives who mean so much.

We’d also like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated to our recent foodbank appeal. The generosity of our Highfield community was humbling and deeply appreciated. A special mention to Meg for once again coordinating the drive to support families in need.

With daylight saving beginning on Sunday 28th September, we can look forward to warm, light-filled evenings, barbeques with friends, and plenty of time to enjoy the outdoors.
